Jon Poza is employed by the Basque Centre For Climate Change, and is currently in New Zealand conducting research at Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research in the gut microbiome of the Bombus Pascuorum. We talk with Jon about this fascinating, but little known area of research, plus bees in general and the plans he has to explore the beautiful South Island during his stay.
